Our Team

Jennifer Johnson came to work for Three Magnolias Financial Advisors in March 2005. She began her career in financial services as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors. There she helped clients prepare for retirement and college expenses and provided advice on wealth management, insurance needs, and estate planning concerns. Before her experience at American Express Financial Advisors, Jennifer worked as a claims representative with State Farm Insurance, where she helped homeowners and business owners recover after suffering damage to their homes and property.

Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from UNC-Greensboro. In addition, she has completed the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) Designation. Jennifer and her husband, David, reside in Boonville and have two daughters, Elizabeth “Libby” and Ella Caroline.

Jennifer is also a registered representative with Private Client Services, which serves as a broker-dealer for Three Magnolias Financial Advisors.

Wes Reed brings over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, delivering thoughtful, unbiased advice to both individuals and businesses. He joined Three Magnolias Financial Advisors in 2009, after beginning his career in 1997 with Wheat First Butcher Singer, where he spent 12 years advising a wide range of clients.

Throughout his career, Wes has helped clients navigate significant financial events such as retirement, wealth transfers, inheritance planning, and money manager selection, while also developing comprehensive investment strategies. He has also worked closely with corporate clients on the design and implementation of 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plans.

At Three Magnolias, Wes continues to provide strategic long-term planning and creative financial solutions. Being part of an independent advisory firm allows him to remain fully focused on what matters most: his clients’ best interests.

Wes earned a B.A. from Wake Forest University in 1991. Before entering the financial industry, he spent six years helping manage his family’s successful retail business in Winston-Salem.

He serves as the Compliance Officer for Three Magnolias Financial Advisors and is a registered representative with Private Client Services. Wes holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 registrations, along with Insurance licenses.

Outside the office, Wes is an accomplished golfer who has won his club championship, a licensed private pilot, enjoys fishing, and consults to an aviation-related business. He lives in Winston-Salem with his wife, Elaine, and their daughter, Jeannie.

Jonathan P. Kacmarcik is an advisor with Three Magnolias Financial Advisors, a distinguished wealth management team in the United States. Jonathan began his career in 2013 with Merrill Lynch. 

Three Magnolias Financial Advisors serves a select group of successful clients, designing tailored strategies that reflect their unique needs. Jonathan and his team are devoted to intellectual rigor, personalized customization, and devoted service. He and his team work closely with affluent individuals and families, helping them simplify the complexities and capitalize on the opportunities of substantial wealth. 

Jonathan has a BA in Business Administration and a MBA degree from Lindenwood University. 

Jonathan is also a registered representative with Private Client Services, which serves as a broker-dealer for Three Magnolias Financial Advisors.
 

Jim Holmes joined Three Magnolias Financial Advisors in October 2024. Jim has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry. His focus is working with foundations, endowments and individuals to help them develop and reach their investment goals.

Planning and implementing portfolio strategies requires good communication skills, research and creative thinking in order to develop a successful plan. Jim enjoys working with each individual client to create a unique portfolio that will meet their long-term objectives.

Jim holds degrees from Brevard College and UNC-Chapel Hill. He is also a graduate of Leadership North Carolina. In addition to his background in financial services, Jim has worked in economic development and real estate development.

Jim has a long history of volunteering in various activities. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Brevard College and the Board of Visitors at UNC-Chapel Hill. Jim has also served on the Board of the United Way, and the Children’s Home, Inc. (now Crossnore).

Jim currently serves on the board of the National Sports Media Association and is active in Centenary United Methodist Church. Jim and his wife Elizabeth have five children and seven grandchildren. In his spare time, Jim enjoys watching football and basketball, playing golf and trips to the mountains of North Carolina.

Connor Cornelison Joined Three Magnolias Financial Advisors at the start of 2023.  Before joining our team, he worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Quality Oil Company in Winston-Salem, NC.  Here he traveled throughout all of North Carolina to repair and install network and point of sale equipment.

Connor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.  Connor and his wife, Madison, currently reside in Clemmons.

Connor enjoys spending his free time watching sports, cinema, and playing chess.    

Paula Foxx joined Three Magnolias Financial Advisors in 2008, and she manages our operations. Before joining our team, Paula was the Administrative Assistant for TriStone Financial Advisors and Trust Services. For the previous ten years, she was employed in the banking industry as a Financial Services Advisor with Suntrust Bank and an Operations Representative with Wachovia. Paula has a North Carolina Insurance License and is a Notary Public.

Paula resides in Winston-Salem and enjoys volunteering for the Novant Health NICU department, Winston-Salem First Assembly of God Nursery, and RestoreOne International.
